I wanted to share with you the terrific Christmas gifts that my dad made: Homemade Limoncello and Biscotti. The Limoncello is really delicious served cold over crushed ice. My dad collected a variety of bottles to decant the limoncello into, then he dipped the tops in red sealing wax and tied a decorative tag onto each with a bit of raffia ribbon. The biscotti are baked with fresh hazelnuts sent to him from friends in Oregon. The finished cookies are boxed in pretty red window boxes! Most of these will end up in gift baskets and be delivered on Christmas Eve!
hi emjay! i dont know how good the biscotti would be in the lemoncello, i know my dad uses red wine or vin santo with biscotti...his gift baskets have Peets's Coffee and Tea to go with this biscotti. The lemoncello recipe is pretty easy and its really good!
